Delusion (a small tale)

When meditation happened, the sky fell and opened around him. The world breathed life into him and he stood straight and courageous against the bright challenge of the day. "This is transcendence" - he whispered. Handed down from Solomon, the wisdoms were revealed to him.

And then the storm that was gathering broke around him. A black sky broke and cracked and soaked the ground and moved the earth.

Fear. He sat motionless, unable to move. The waters rose and drowned him. Lightning burned him. Trees shattered and fell, crushing his bones.

Something smiled a wicked smile. "The Ancient Wisdoms have nothing on me", whispered the Harsh Truth of Existence.
